Power Platform masterclass: Advanced mobility

Enhance your Resco mobile app with the latest updates. 

We will guide you through updating the Resco mobile solution for Power Platform, using newly released capabilities. Using the fictional Z.A.P. Energy Cleaning business case, we’ll walk you through real-world scenarios and provide straightforward, actionable insights. 

Building on previous sessions, we’ll expand beyond the foundational tools and dive into advanced features that enhance mobility and streamline field processes. 

In this session, we revisit the solutions implemented for Z.A.P., which included Inspections+ with Scheduler, Timesheet management, and foundational questionnaires such as the Hazardous Waste Storage Area Checklist and Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR). These tools digitized key workflows, transitioning Z.A.P. from manual, paper-based processes to a scalable, digital system tailored to the needs of their mobile workforce. 

Today’s focus is on advancing these solutions with new features and capabilities. We’ll demonstrate how to: 

• Enhance questionnaires with advanced functionalities like data mapping, follow-up actions, and JavaScript logic. 

• Prepopulate fields dynamically and trigger automated tasks based on input, enabling smarter and more efficient workflows. 

• Simplify the fieldworker’s experience by automating asset preloading and linking jobs, projects, and accounts seamlessly. 

Through live demos, we’ll showcase how Z.A.P.’s digital tools empower their technicians to handle complex fieldwork efficiently, even in demanding environments. For example, technicians can now automate follow-up visits, prioritize tasks, and pre-fill data for reporting, all while maintaining a seamless offline experience. 

By the end of this session, you’ll understand how to incorporate Resco’s latest innovations into your projects, improving productivity and creating tools that end users genuinely want to use. Whether you’re refining existing solutions or exploring new possibilities, this masterclass provides actionable insights to help you achieve more with Power Platform.
